Selling a 1978 international scout ii. 
Runs good. New 31x10.5 all terrain  tires, battery, spark plugs, fuel pump, carb was just rebuilt by skinners. Needs a little TLC but a solid runner. No top. Could use a passenger side fender as the one on it is pretty dinged up. Great project or just enjoy it as is. Great summer cruiser. These are getting harder to find. Has the 345 engine with automatic transmission and 4x4. It has typical scout rust. Nothing major or structural. Dont think you can make this a show truck. It is what it is. Enjoy it, fix it up.. the truck runs great. I have a lead on a place you can buy a new fender and a top for it.

1977 IH2 Scout II

Here is something you don't see ever... it is a 1976 international Harvester Scout ii Terra model with the removable fiberglass top. The truck has a 304 v8, 4 spd manual transmission, Dana 70 in the rear, dana 44 in the front, 36" tsl super-swampers. Has Kwik Wire 12 circuit wiring kit (if you know scouts the wiring is the only thing that kills them). New carburetor 650cfm w/ electric choke, new plugs, cap and rotor, and wires. New fluids all around. new brake pads all around. Reman brake booster and master cylinder was replaced a few years ago. 12000lb warn cable winch with 2 battery setup. I also have a 345 engine with transmission that will come with the truck if wanted. This truck runs drives and stops well, but it is a 50 yr old vehicle and needs some tinkering here's the list;
1) fuel gauge and temp do not work (maybe gauge maybe sending unit)
2) cracked windshield (flat windshield its expected)
3) needs exhaust piping and mufflers the original stuff is full of holes.
4) needs seals all around (top and doors) original seals make for a breezy ride. 
5) A couple of the tie rod joints need attention (steering isn't bad but there is definitely play)
6) dings and dents all around and small rust holes on paneling but it is original paint so actually pretty impressively well preserved.
7) passenger door doesn't have lock button (have a spare door for parts that can be included)
8) windshield wiper motor is weak (works with wet windshield but needs attention) 
9) clutch engages and disengages at top of throw (new clutch needed in future)
10) true milage is unknown but guessing off of condition of steering wheel and pedals its probably rolled over once.

Come have a look at this absolute brute of a vehicle and I haven't saw a comparable rig for this price (its rare and cool) with the heavy lifting done, cruise this classic with the top off in the mountains looking up at the stars. 
Will consider trades for newer AWD or 4wd suv family cars. Can add cash on-top for the right trade. I have owned this truck for close to 10yrs if you have any questions feel free to ask.

1974 International Scout

78 Terra in pretty good shape.  It was an arizona truck for years.  I moved it up to Mn about 10 years ago.  It has never seen the winter.  I drive it sparingly may to october.  It runs.  Has the original 345 engine.  New Holley carb this year.  Corbeau seats and the back has been re done. I just don't use it enough to keep it around.

Since 37 years in the family is this Scout 800 that has been converted to a BMW six cylinder turbodiesel with automatic ZF transmission. Originally from San Bernardino California it has never suffered bad weather conditions or being used in the winter. Exceptional original body condition. Before converting it to the reliable and economical BMW turbodiesel I had for 20 years a 530 hp 406 Chevy in it and participated in a lot of 1/8 mile races. The last eight years I've been using it with an intercooled BMW with just 35,000 miles on it.  It works perfectly with the ZF4 HP 22 transmission, has 150 hp on the dyno and being almost 200 kg lighter than the international drivetrain, it convinces with a pleasant driving experience. 4 Old scouts for sale

This 1970 International Harvester Scout 800 is finished in two-tone silver and blue over a blue vinyl interior and is equipped with a removable roof, a roof rack, a roll cage, fog lamps, and a digital media receiver. Power is provided by a rebuilt I6 engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.

The truck underwent a repaint in Aristocrat-style silver with blue accents under previous ownership. The removable traveltop features sliding side windows and a stainless-steel roof rack and is underpinned by a full roll cage. Other equipment includes “Aristocrat” fender badges, Hella fog lamps, dual mirrors, a rear step bumper, and a ball hitch.

The truck rides on BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires wrapped around 15" rally-style chrome wheels.

The engine underwent a rebuild back in 2016 along with multiple other items getting replaced. 

It was purchased off Bring A Trailer back in 2021 (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-international-harvester-scout-800-aristocrat/) and simply doesn't get used as much as it should, so it's time for the next owner. The web page is still there, so if you reach out, I'm happy to forward it along. I also have numerous recent photos I can provide you with.

1970 Scout 800

This is a one-owner 1978 Scout II, V345 gas engine, 4-speed, 4x4. Purchased new by my dad in 1978, which he gifted to me in 2016. It’s been well maintained in original/highly original condition, with only 117,407 miles on the original engine. Since 2016 it’s had a carburetor rebuild (on the original carburetor), fuel pump replaced, fan clutch replaced, fuel pump gasket and valve cover gaskets replaced, fuel gauge sending unit replaced, a new power steering fluid line, and a new gas throttle cable (the one connecting the accelerator pedal). I also replaced the battery about six months ago. It’s been repainted twice over its lifetime to match the original factory color. 

Rust issues are minimal. It’s had some body work in its history but nothing major—my dad has always been one to get on top of issues before they get serious. It had some rust removed/body work back in the late 1980s the first time it was repainted.  And then some minor work again when repainted in the 2005-2010 timeframe. (See last set of photos in the posting for those areas.)

It spent the first 12 years of its life in Hawaii, and around 1990 was shipped back to the west coast where I used it for a few years in Washington. It was then kept in central Oregon and garaged until 2016, when I acquired it. The interior was re-upholstered a number of years ago to match the original and is still in like-new condition. Other than the first decade or so of its life, it also hasn’t had much off-road use. Mostly driven for commuting and city/highway driving. Thanks for looking!
